I'm trying to get a visual of the CV boot angles and other parts on a 2.5" or so lifted LC - what's a good looking setup and what's not for reliability, long-term wear?

Thanks.

FWIW: If you are concerned about your CV angles post liff there are diff drop kits are available at small cost and simple to do. So you can 'have your 2.5" lift and not eat your CVs too'

Far as I am aware nearly all reported CV breakages have occurred to lifted rigs and usually as a consequence of a spinning lifted left front wheel combined with TCs often brutal traction control. In theory a diff drop should help and lockers seems to solve the problem period if your into more serious off-road adventure travel.

Spot on there with Bill, discussed this topic more than once, definitely go the diff drop.

How's it going Bill mate, say g'day to the boys on Lcool for me

Recommendations on a drop kit anyone?

I'm lifted 4" so this is a must have soon

Bill in theory if a rig is not equipped with TC should this lessen the effect on the cvs... I try my best while offroading to avoid unnecessary abuse. I have popped a wheel in the air and caught air once or twice climbing tricky big dunes but I try to make sure I'm off the gas once the wheels make contact as have always heard it causes severe strain on the diffs..

THEROK only pics of front suspension I've got on hand are these (OME lift with sports shocks)

if you need any specific area pictured let me know and i'll get it done in the am
