I've got my old spare tire up for grabs to the Locals first. I had it mounted for less than 1k Miles before I got a whole new set of shoes. Old Style BFG 315/75/16. Asking $200 OBO, just had our first baby and will need money for diapers/gas/ammo. Open to trades.

Has minor checking due to age. Would make good spare.

The indentation was from being on a Slee Tire Carrier.

I have a few more pictures if needed.

Located in the Stetson Hills area of town near Dublin and Powers.

After about 8 years my MV50 suffered a catastrophic and unrepairable failure. So I thought I would do some additional research and settled on the Viair 300p. Normally goes for around $130 even on Amazon. But I found a crazy good deal on Jet for $40. For new members you can get 15% off your first 3 orders. Some say it looks like the MV50 externally but a guy on the Jeep forum took both apart and the internals are definitely different. The Viair outperforms it as well. Here are some links.

Specs.

Smittybilt MV50 vs. Viair 400p are they the same compressor? - Page 3 - JeepForum.com

Wow - I suspect my MV50 is of similar vintage as yours Leon ... I'm picking this up also.

Note that the jeepforum link is looking at the 400P vs the 300P in the Jet link. I suspect the quality comparison is still valid. Performance wise the 300P appears to be about 0.25 CFM less @ 40 PSI (and $160 cheaper).

Their other VIAIR products are priced similar to other retailers - wondering if this is an error?

As for the 300 vs 400 I was thinking the same thing regarding internals and quality. As for flow, you are correct, but for the price...

I got my shipping notification and it should be here Thursday.

Deal is gone - $120 this morning.
Mine should get here tomorrow.

All I got was a 30 ft extension hose. Jet refunded my money, told me to keep the hose. She wouldn't reorder as it was obviously a listing mistake.

Wow - not cool :frown:
We'll see what's in my box tomorrow.

I think the shipping weight of 3# should have been a clue, but didn't even think about it until after it arrived. If they happen to let you reorder let me know so I can get one.

Has standard fittings so at least I can use it on my garage compressor.

Heh - judging by the shipping weight, I'm getting screwed also. And I really don't need any more air hoses.

I'm still waiting for my item since they sent it "signature required" and I'm not home during the day. Will probably get a note to pick it up.
Do you think there's any advantage in refusing shipment for sending the wrong item?

Well my extension line came today. Called Jet and they are having me return it. No big deal I don't expect anything for free but I probably wont be dealing with them in the future since this happened on the very first thing I ordered.
