SOLD I have a 67 FJ40 for sale or trade for a nice offroad camping trailer plus cash. It is titled as a 67 and the frame is stamped as such but I believe the tub is later. Here is a rundown of things done to it since I have owned it for about 5 years.
Great looking and running 1967 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has a 2 year old Yamaha blue pearl paint job. Upgraded from 3 speed column shift and 3 speed transfer case to a 4 speed trans and transfer case. All new tie rod ends. Newer Kelly 31" tires, all new OEM rubber weather stripping and seals, new windshield, Interior floor has had a spray in sound deadening application that was painted Yamaha blue with a clear coat. The motor is a 74 1.5 F motor that was rebuilt by PO and has 120 compression on all cylinders, tested cold. 100 amp Delco alternator, gear reduction starter, It doesn't have power steering or brakes, but brakes work as they should. It has about a 2" lift. Older KYB shocks. All lights and accessories work except speedometer. Drive train has had a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing installed and drives shafts have been reworked to accommodate 4 speed trans. The heater was rebuilt. The vinyl reproduction soft top is in excellent condition as are the real steel bows for the top. It is a rust free truck that is very solid and straight. The sheet metal under the tool box was replaced with a heavy gauge steel plate. Perhaps a rust problem there? I probably left out more details so ask questions if you are interested. I also have more pictures available. SOLD
