For Sale FOR SALE OR TRADE 83 BJ60 with a 3B diesel

Howdy all-
Im lookin to sell or TRADE my diesel landcruiser for a diesel pickup.

My 83 Bj60 has an 82 3B that came out of a canadian fj40. Motor has ~160k and the chassis has ~250k. Runs like a dream. Body is impeccable. Frame is incredibly solid. It is an amazing rig!

It's fully converted with a Greasecar kit to run on veggie. Complete with autopilot fuel controls.

Can either come with or take out the grease kit depending on the deal.

Im looking for a 4x4 diesel pickup in same or better condition.

any history on the truck? where its from, how many owners, maintenance records? was this a BJ 60 that had another diesel engine put in or is it an FJ that has been converted? What does the Title say the vehicle is?

I got a call back from jeff

it was 2f fj60 that was converted to diesel
it leaks a small amount of oil from the oil pan he said he replaced the front and rear main seals thinking thats where the leak was from, he says its hardly enough to need to ad oil.
its a 4spd
he said he would not hesitate to drive it cross country....

Follow up

After many emails and conversations with Jeff I decided to go a different direction (I found a rusted out Canadian BJ60 that more suited my needs for a donor truck).

I wanted to let all the fellow members know that although slightly busy Jeff is a standup guy. And that the compression numbers on his engine are nice and high so it should make a great cruiser for someone.
