I blew the head gasket on my 80. Needless to say i have to sell, ive started a house and it has priority. Its a 1993 with 199,600 miles. It is white in color, leather seats power everything. It has an old man emu 2.5" lift kit, aussie locker in the rear, sliders welded to the frame and a 4x4 labs rear bumper. 7 pin mod. It has an almost new set of 285-75-16 kenda mts. Ive heard its not worth much. Im asking 3500 obo. Located in concord nc. 704-425-4182 it wont let me attach files. Ill be glad to text or email pics.

Talked to seller and sounds like stand up guy. Monitored heat via manual/analog guage and never got above 220. I also warned him about you parts vultures :D

Johnny needs an 4bt80 anyways

Anyone know if it'll fit a 7.3 Powerstroke or an old 429 Ford? Just pondering a few things.

you would be very, very hard pressed to get a 7.3 PS in there... not impossible but very very hard... plus you would have just added about 800lbs to your front end counting for the difference from the 1fz to the 7.3 and we haven't started on the transmission choice you would need.... 429 would be a bunch easier.

All I hear are excuses. If you can stuff a 6BT in there, you can put a 7.3 or a 502 mercruiser if you were so driven.

It's only time and money!

:doh:deleted to not clog up the OP's for sale thread with swap info
