There is a red 60 with my name on it, so I'm considering selling my 1989 62

168K
Very minimal rust, frame is excellent
Almost new 31" BFG AT/KO
Sony cd player, new speakers front and back
CCOT marine vinyl seat covers/rebuilt seats
Aux tranny cooler
All fluids recently changed
maintained by Jose rivera, owner of Metro Land Cruisers

Phenomenal truck, has given me zero trouble in the 8 months I've owned it. Runs strong and cool in the city, on the highway at 75mph, and crawling in the woods in 4lo. Transmission shifts like new.

Not so great:

Headliner is not the best, looks to have been incorrectly installed, but is aesthetically decent. It is very responsive to humidity.

Rain gutters need resealing at some point

A/C needs recharging

I pulled the carpet and replaced with diamond plate vinyl. I prefer the look and the ease of clean up, but it is louder.

Windows are slow in winter. Rear passenger window needs to be sealed into its track.

$4500 firm on mud, $6000 elsewhere. In this town, thats what you can get for a 62 in good shape.

Let me know if you want specific pics

Luke

Where can this be seen in NYC? Good luck on the red 60 too! Everyone should have one!

It is in the village/Soho area around west Houston street. Let me know if you'd like to see it.

I was on my way to Benny's Burritos in Greenwhich last week and i could of SWORN I saw this rig parked on one of the streets around there.

Good luck from a local NYCer

Yup, that was probably me, although there is another metallic beige 62 that lives in the area albeit with a sweet conferr safari rack.

It now seems like the 60 deal is a no go, so I must take the truck off the market for now. My apologies for any inconvenience. On another note, if anyone out there with a nice 60 is interested in the possibility of a trade, let me know
Luke
