FJ45LV 1964 Project on the Block

Folks, I have just gone through a life changeing event and it has caused me to think alot. (hard death in the family). While I am still in the process of working things out, I am dealing with my own life and family priorities. I am the type of person that always has to be busy... either buying things, fixing things, working on the yard, overtime at work, business trips etc. I think I'm going to do a Piriority shift here shortly and with 2 kids in the family here now they need to be my priorities and right now arent, and I'm starting to notice this with the relationships I have.

So The FJ45LV Project I have MIGHT have to go to free up the constant temptation to spend all my time on it and less time with kids. I know I've said I would never sell... but my family needs to be the center of my life and is not.

The truck is rare, with 4 dealer options, PTO WINCH, Dealer heater, and 2 others that I cannot think of right now. The only negitive is the floor boards, which are in detailed pictures. The body is freeking clean otherwise. Everything is there, including the number matching F motor. The current condition is located at www.fjtoys.com/project.

My life is LC's right now, love them... maybe too much.

This is on a truck in Nashville that I'm looking at buying. It's welded to the frame, bj70alex may know where it came from, don't know myself...

My wife keeps wondering why I want to buy a truck that she's never seen anywhere around this area....

Don't shoot the messenger! :flipoff2:
I didn't even get his name this morning. (Although I think we can deduce that it's Paul :D ). Call him up and see if he'll negotiate. It's been in the paper for a while. He probably is thinkin' the new Jasper engine w/ the warranty warrants the 9K price. Just a guess. It just so happened I ran into him today and saw it. Thought I could give you guys a heads up. It is a good-lookin' 62...besides the tranny. Call and see what he says.

I think there is a Blue 60/62 in Autotrader from the same place about half as cheap that also has tranny problems...???.......

almost completely dissasembled. No price yet no.

If I was bringing it, I wouldn't have sold it :D

I'm bringing the troopy though, but not selling it.

Good Home needed for 72 FJ 55

1972 FJ 55. Fairly clean, minor rust in the floor boards, fender under battery and rear left corner. Fenders are solid, maybe some rust behind the scenes. Original paint, seized motor. Smack in rear left corner & tail light assmbly. Have donor rig for that fix, also available is a PTO for FJ 55 complete less extended frame horns. DS doors have a hard time shutting. Located in Southwest Oregon. Entertaining offers and trades. 40 parts, good hard top (cap mainly). Wouldn't mind keeping drive train, 3 speed, tcase and f motor with Holley(?). Looking for stuff to hook up a toybox(have the mini stuff). Whatever..

Here are more pics, seeing as I have used up all my space here. http://www.cascadecruisers.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=1634.0
As for price I am just entertaining offers as I would like to think that some day I would get her running but.....

well when you have a price I might like to check it out, but I fear it has too much floor rot for my liking.

Last time to the top...

I'll let the ad fade away after this. The truck will remain in storage. Thanks to all who've expressed an interest.

All items will go with the truck.. not going to part it out. Floor rot is pretty bad yea. The heater is a dealer option, it isnt round, but square. had to be ordered with the truck.

brand new front driveshaft just put on with all new u joints
