Baja Designs S1 is very poor choice as fog light. It's is bright but no cut off. It should not be used on the road.
Diode dynamics SC1 Pro SAE Fog would be much better option for fog.

Tnx. Is there a kit for the stock location? Ronin Metal works has a kit for the Baja Designs that’s why I was leaning towards them…plus they look great!
I tried to figure this out for a long time too after coming across a GX on Instagram with them. I just purchased the Ronin brackets which are advertised to work for both the Bajas and the Diode Dynamics SSC1. I haven't installed mine yet but planning on going with the Diode Dynamics.

Having used both yellow and white fog lights, meh... I've found just driving slow and being able to keep the tail lights in front of me at a safe distance is all I've ever needed.
I have never seen a great enough improvement with yellow lights in fog to warrant getting them. I'd just assume get driving lights that throw out farther so I'm not out running my headlights.

i have had them on my 2005 SUPER HILUX now for a few single diget months
it simply AMAZING option to have
this along with a OEM ANY time fog lamps MODIFICATION too i can share what i know here too .......
i CAN turn on and off my oem toyota optional FOG lamps ON demand any time i with or choose
- head lamps / park off OFF / KEY in acc or ON position
- park only ON
- low beams ON
- HIGH beams ON

I came across the diode dynamics at a pretty good price so finally pulled the trigger.Awesome Tnx. I might follow suit. Let us know how it went once finished
Install was pretty straight forward, and the Ronin brackets worked great. They don’t come with any instructions but to note the “notch” in the bracket will need to face outwards. There’s a tab on the bumper where the foglight sits against, will make more sense once you see it.
So drivers side for example, once mounted on the light will look a C when looking at it head on - pic for reference, passenger on left, driver on right.
Install took maybe 30-45 minutes.
I haven’t gone out for a drive yet, but first impressions are the beam cutoff is def cleaner than stock with maybe a bit better output.
