I tried to figure this out for a long time too after coming across a GX on Instagram with them. I just purchased the Ronin brackets which are advertised to work for both the Bajas and the Diode Dynamics SSC1. I haven't installed mine yet but planning on going with the Diode Dynamics.Tnx. Is there a kit for the stock location? Ronin Metal works has a kit for the Baja Designs that’s why I was leaning towards them…plus they look great!
I came across the diode dynamics at a pretty good price so finally pulled the trigger.Awesome Tnx. I might follow suit. Let us know how it went once finished![]()
I love my diode dynamics! I got the combo beam pattern, and honestly, like them better than my low beams...I came across the diode dynamics at a pretty good price so finally pulled the trigger.
Install was pretty straight forward, and the Ronin brackets worked great. They don’t come with any instructions but to note the “notch” in the bracket will need to face outwards. There’s a tab on the bumper where the foglight sits against, will make more sense once you see it.
So drivers side for example, once mounted on the light will look a C when looking at it head on - pic for reference, passenger on left, driver on right.
Install took maybe 30-45 minutes.
I haven’t gone out for a drive yet, but first impressions are the beam cutoff is def cleaner than stock with maybe a bit better output. View attachment 2956511
