Fir Tree ZIP-Tie

Thinking about using these in conjunction with small weld-on tabs for securing wiring along the inner firewall and under the dash in place of the OEM fold over tabs.
Maybe there’s some other ideas out there?...

Do you need the tabs if you use the first zip-ties you referenced? Don't you just need to drill a hole?

Yeah I think those are very similar to what’s holding my harness to inner fender.

Thanks for posting that stuff!
I see things that you, Scrappdaddy, Targetcarrier and everyone else posts and get stoked
I’ve never seen these before.
^^ Total wealth of great info & ideas on here!

Could be used either way. If I can, I’d rather not drill a bunch of holes everywhere, but maybe there’s not much difference in that over welding a bunch of small tabs everywhere 🤔
The second picture of the tab is just another idea to secure things nice and clean with zip ties, only thing I don’t care for would be the possibility of the item zip tied riding along that edge eventually resulting in a hole.

I used them here on the target carrier and in several places on the angry pig to hold the battery cable from the rear mounted battery and haven't had any issues with rubbing holes.
