Not much. Trying to finish off the air compressor install. That will probably go a long ways towards getting back on track.

Just finished the last of the plumbing for the air compressor to the new reel.

Awhile in the making, but now it’s in! Had to get a slab poured which was done wrong and had to be cut and broken out and repoured where the compressor was going.
Trying out the PEX air line. I like the line but not a fan of the fittings.
Installed a Norgren regulator and filter off the compressor and Husky Home Depot set at the reel.
Another line is in place for future non-air tool duty.
The ol crusty Campbell Hausfeld and 10hp gas powered Dayton compressor can now go bye-bye.

I just replaced a compressor that looked like that with a new stand up, and connected it to a reel. It’s a deWalt and is a thousand times more quiet. To have it connected to a reel, shut up! It has changed my whole garage coolness factor! Looks like I need to instal a filter now.

Ol pal,
These were the fittings that came with the kit.
They’re a kind of compression fitting, but with minimal engagement and smallish ferrules and brass construction.
The new seldom used tool that came with the kit is a deep-jaw, stubby-handled Chinese adjustable wrench with Chinese tolerances.
So far so good though - several days at 120 psi without leaks or a fitting blowing loose.

you said brass construction, pretty sure brass is out of the price range. but on the plus side, ive seen enough youtube vids of asian people building all manner of strangeness using chinesium hardware, and that stuff holds right the f up,,,,, at least for the length of the vid
