New to me LX, washed it this weekend and got a good amount of water from the hose on the underside including the mid skid plate. Water mixed with whatever was on the skid plate and when I backed down the driveway it left a trail. I assumed it was just water from hose but it didn’t dry like just water would and I got suspicious.

Got a flashlight and shined from top engine bay down and noticed a light greenish color fluid on top of the skid plate.

Started looking for coolant leak, can’t find anything. Expansion tank is full. No signs of any leak in or around heater tees. Tightened the clamps just to be sure.

My only thought process is that when the prior owner did the heater tees prior to my purchase the coolant went down to the skid and some of it either dried or stayed there and when I hit that area with the hose it mixed up.

The water on the skid was greenish, but smelt more like water than coolant.

Is this plausible? Am I being paranoid?

Zero issues otherwise, coolant levels fine. Can not find one trace of coolant leak anywhere on underside.

I wiped the skid plate dry in hopes to be able to tell if anything falls down and collects again.

Yes green, all of it. 2004 model year.

Was probably switched to green when timing belt was last done. Could get pressure tested to see if there's a leak, but my guess is small leak from rad. Mine had a small leak when I bought it a year ago, which turned into a big leak, but it was pretty obvious when the rad went. Truck actually ran fine for a few weeks until I could do the swap, just monitored coolent and topped off regularly.

I'm pretty sure it should be the Pink Super Long Life fluid, definitely not green. get the pressure checker and check the obvious fittings, if they are good look towards the front of the engine block for possible leaks around the water pump.
