Well... I know it wouldn't hurt to replace the axle while I'm in there. When I replaced the drive flange is was kinda chewed up. Also one tie rod could use replacing.. you didn't need need all thatextra beer for the tie rods did ya?

I had to put my tie rod ends IN the wood stove for about 5 mins an end, place in a very large vice, a big ass pipe wrench and crescent wrench and recruit a helper to get mine to break lose.
 
truck lived in MD and PA until I bought it and moved it to Montana. Yeah its a got a bit of corrosion going on LOL. hardly any considering where its spent its life all things considered

Yes. The tie rods were the most difficult part of the job... As indicated by the need for a big ass vice and a blow torch. Oh... And a big ass pipe wrench with an additional 4' cheater
