LAST CALL: Transmission is spoken for. If anyone is interested in anything else, speak up quickly because I need the space in my garage for my FJ40 AND my wife and I are tired of the smell (gear oil STINKS) so anything not bought by Monday will be hauled to the scrap metal by the pounds place to be crushed and/or melted. I'm not a hoarder, and it WILL go if none of you want it. I was told it was a 1971 drivetrain, but expert eyes here in the forums have said they think it is a 1972 or 1973, so look closely at the pics. Crankshaft and pistons are not there. If interested in anything, make a reasonable offer. Thanks.

Maybe @cruisermatt can swing by and relieve you of some of these parts. Somebody will want that air cleaner. Carbs are handy to have around too.

I would offer to pick everything up to save you the hassle of loading and unloading but unfortunately have too much going on this weekend. Definitely don't scrap the carb or air cleaner. cylinder head core is probably worthwhile to someone as well.

PM sent for alternator ….what numbers are on it? Interested if it’s OEM.

I am going to post some additional pics that I took a few minutes ago. Tried to use a damp cloth to wipe off labels and numbers where I could:

Thanks for the images. I will pass on the alternator.

No problem. That might be the kind of thing that might be handy to keep as a spare. But good grief! I couldn't believe how heavy even it was! There's NOTHING light on these things I guess. The Toyota straight 6 engine weighs almost the same as an old school big block Hemi that I built for my 1934 Coupe! I couldn't believe that, because that Hemi was MASSIVE big! And built in 1958.
