so i am in the process of prepping my interior floorboard for rhino lining. I have removed the carpet except the small patch above the shifter. Does anyone know if i could just use aircraft paint remover to remove the paint or is it more of a matter of ruffing up the texture of the surface so that the lining will stick?

you should just be able to scuff it with 100-300 grit sandpaper, use something like xylene to clean prep it, and slap it on.. (just did the interior of my 40, and would suggest spray vs roll, but that is my preference...

Did you go thru with the rhino job on your floor? Did you remove the tar or did you spray over it? Pics

Never touched it.

Call Mark at MIX truck accessories in Greenville. He's a Toyota guy and has been to a few events with UC. he can tell you exactly what you need to do since he is the guy that will spray the Rhino Lining for you.

You need to remove the tar first. Put dry ice on it and hit it with a hammer after a few minuted. Make sure the dry ice is in a vented bag and crushed up.
Hey I have another question you probably know the answer to.... Can I remove the chrome trim that goes around the doors window opening ? It looks like it might hold the rubber inside the doors channel that the window sits in when it's rolled up
