Flex a lite electric fan

Looking to replace my twin hercules fans (in since '94) with a flex-a-lite setup, anyone out here had luck with a rig from these guys? Which model did you go with? I have the MAF aluminum radiator, with the stock F engine, I'm worried about water pump clearance (fan is removed, just pulley on that long neck).

Look for a Taurus fan. I picked up a Taurus, Sable, Mustang 16" electric with integrated shroud for $40. 4500 cfm.

Not $300.

V8 conversion though..

i dont know anything about the flex-a-lite setup. but as alex e stated you might look into a taurus fan. the taurus fans are hard to beat and can pull a ton of air. i use one with my V-8 but you may have fitment issues with the F engine. check out these threads some have pics that may help. https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/50141-electric-fan-faq-links.html

Looked through the FAQ's, didn't find anything but Taurus. The single fan setup, such as the Taurus, will not clear the water pump on my F, this is why I went with the dual setup initially. Also, with generally cold weather (AK), I sometimes only run one fan. Basically looking for another dual fan replacement, such as what Flex-A-Lite offers. Anyone out there with a setup like this?

Running a flex-a-lite 398 on my 2f in conjunction with a Painless 185* on 175*off Phantom Relay kit ( #30103) Works great, no clearance issues kicks on every time and keeps engine at perfect temperature.
