That's right! And looking for advice

This is my daily driver with around 700 miles per month and plan to do light wheeling and camping Etc with 2.5 ome (will install in a month) w/ 33s for now!!!!

I'm pretty sure what's going to be said. But I'm trying(lol) to drop as little money as possible till I figure out what's wrong with her(compression, fuel filter, o2, other tests) I'm looking to invest in new birfs and axles(she's clicking real good). The absolute cheapest I can find is long field/trailgear at around $600 shipped. And the the rebuild kit from trailgear at around $80 shipped. Let me know if anyone knows or has a better deal on a axle kit and if trail gear isn't worth it for the rebuild. Atleast I'm saving money on labor. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I know this is boarderline tech but I still "want" if someone has!!

I wouldn't go with the cheaper trail gear stuff. Check out the Terrain Tamer stock replacement birfs. www.cruiseryard.com has them. Cruiser Brothers also has them. I usually get seals and gasket sets from www.cruiseroutfitters.com They aren't OEM but they aren't the cheapest crappiest chinese sets either. They are a quality kit that lasts. There is no reason you should have to replace the axle shaft itself.

Well originally I though new 30 spline kit for 6 or just birf set for around 4 but I guess this makes a lot more sense when you put it like that!

So those are good hardened birfs? But don't get their rebuild kit?

Also those birfs link straight into stock axle application. No fuss with dust caps or spindle.

Lastly and other vouchers for this company!?

No the Trail Terrain axle kits are good kits too. I try to spread my business some. I've been buying seals and axle sets from Cruiser Outfitters for probably 15 years and at least a dozen Cruisers. I just wouldn't buy the Trail Gear kits after seeing a couple of them. the seal quality just isn't as good. I have a Trail Terrain axle kit on the shelf right now. I'll use it in an upcoming build. They seem to be good quality.
