I have an FJ80 front axle and I am looking to buy some new C clips, anyone know where I can buy some?

90520-31007

Depending on where you are located, going to your local Toyota dealer might be the best bet.

They run about $1.20 or so.

I talked to my local dealer and the guy didn't know what he was doing. He gave me this part number 42325-55010. Does anyone know if this is the right part number?

No, that's not the right thing.

The part Beno gave you is the right part #. Your parts guy is... inexperienced.

The part # he gave you is for an axle shaft lock... definitely not a snap ring / c-clip.

Where in Florida are you? Some of us down here have relationships with some of the parts depts and we know who to ask for/go to when we need something locally.

Ok thanks. I didn't even realize Beno posted the correct part number haha. I'll try and have them order them tomorrow.

And I'm in Ocala FL

Thanks for all your help guys

I got my c clips and I've got the outer sperated from the inner shafts but I was wondering if you guys knew any tricks to popping it back in without taking apart the birf

Try using a screw-type hose clamp to compress the circlip as you slip it into the birf.

It turned out that those were the wrong c clips. Luckily a buddy at a local tire shop had an old axle laying out back and I grabbed one from him
