Might have to buy a new radiator. Mine is leaking and I took my. spare to the shop and they said they would take a look but were not sure they could boil and rod it because it was heavier than it should be and probably full of stop leak . Any suggestions on an affordable place to get one if I have to bite the bullet? I'm on a tight budget.

Do a google search for CSF radiator part no. 2708. Contrary to CSF's catalog, this is the correct part number (not the 2709, as many Mudders have found out the hard way) for the FJ62. I just put one in my 89 FJ62. It's a direct bolt in and appears to be identical to the oem radiator in every way. I can check later, but I'm pretty sure I got mine from autopartswarehouse.com for around $300 with free shipping.

I bought this one - http://www.ebay.com/itm/140737969865?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649.

$200 shipped. Haven't gotten it installed yet because I'm replacing a few other things while the radiator's out and haven't ordered them yet. However, it looks pretty well built.

That is the EXACT one i just bought and put into mine. I've only drivien it around a few times (because the new waterpump i put in at the same time decided to be leaky) but even with the truck idling with the A/C on and no fan shroud the needle stays on the lower part of the middle of the gauge, which is better than the old radiator ever could do. Granted it was the original which i'm sure that ANYTHING will be an improvement, but it does appear to be very robust in it's construction.
