FJ62 Power Antenna hack?

Will the 80 series power antenna work in the FJ62 series? Would like to continue to use the power antenna switch but have no power antenna module. Looking for options.

I don't know about the 80 antenna. To use the existing wiring/switch, you need a semi automatic antenna. There is no 'module'. It's a function of the existing wiring. I think Cruiser Corps in OKC has them for a little over $100.

Yes, I used an 80 series antenna in my 62, i can try and find the part # Sunday.
I think I used the 62 bracket and needed to open the hole in the fender with a burr just a smidge to get the new antenna to fit thru.
plug connected to the wire harness.

as stated it was 2 years ago, I think I also needed to swap the lower bracket from my existing to the new

@grayfj62turd I actually did this project not too long ago and have an extra semi-automatic antenna that will work with the switch. You can see it here. Lmk if interested. DM me for details.
