I have a 1989 FJ62. I bought it from the original owner. She lived in Napa and believed in regular service and maintenance. I have the folder of receipts to prove it. She finally gave up when her $4k tranny rebuild failed on her. I bought it with a bad tranny and then found a low mileage factory replacement for it. I saw the vehicle that i t came out of and verified the odometer. It had under 130k on it when they did a 5spd conversion. I have since put $1100 worth of tires on it, a starter from Cruiser Dan, and all new factory tune up parts. I replaced the water pump last year too, because the bearing was noisy. She always had seat covers on so the seats are impeccable. The carpet was vacuumed a lot so it looks kinda furry. All original floor mats except for the drivers. It runs fantastic. A/C blows cold. Everything works except cruise control and the passenger side rear window. Rear heat works great too. There are some dings and scratches around but I believe it to be all original paint. There is a rust spot below the windshield on the passenger side. I included a pic. There is a dent in the passenger side quarter panel right where the gas door is. I tried to take a good pic of it but it's tough capture in the photo. I loaned it to a friend and she damaged the drivers door. I have a replacement for it. There is a little damage to the trailing edge of the drivers fender where it meets the door. It drives quite well. The front end is a little loose. Could probably use a knuckle rebuild at some point in the future. 4wheel drive works great. You can see it was never really wheeled, the rockers aren't dented. The mud flaps are on and in great shape. Very solid clean older cruiser that has some bumps and bruises from being 21years old.
