Looking for feedback - started getting this scraping/squeaking noise coming from what I think is the front/passenger side of the truck. It only occurs while driving, and if the truck is driving straight. The noise goes away while turning. Attached a video (hope it works) noise is at :09 and more prominent at :17 and beyond. Noise is intermittent, it could do it one day, and not at all on another. Thanks!

I have a similar thing going on, and while I haven't had time to dig into it, my current theory is that power steering pump might be starting to fail. I mostly hear the noise when idling, but I have an exhaust leak that drowns out everything else when I'm driving, haha.

Have you check the power steering fluid level? Might not hurt to pull the belt off and see if anything's amiss with the pump.

Do a test run again to make that sound, then lightly apply the brakes while still pushing on the gas pedal.
If the sound goes away when you press on the brakes — examine the brakes.

Also jack up front passenger wheel and turn it by hand. Check to see if there’s any suspicious noises when spinning the wheel.

Yeah sounds like brakes have something in em or are warped. Power steering noise is more of a groan than a scrape. if it goes away when turning could be something in the trunnion area 🤷‍♂️
Good luck

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, ill take it out tomorrow and follow up if I find out more ..

Update - really a silly/stupid issue, somehow over the last 40 miles lost 3 lug nuts. 1 gone, 1 halfway down the stud, and the other in place but completely loose. The weight of the wheel fell on and pinched (and bent) the hub/center cap which I guess after a quick drive would then cause the hub cover to start to scrape against the inner/center of the wheel. Kinda bummed such a stupid reason to ruin anything... the "completeness" of this truck was one of it's selling points to me. Hopefully I didn't do too much damage.

check the wheel studs for damage and replace
also check the other 3 wheels

Damn I'm sorry about that. One time one of my lug nuts wasn't tightened fully and I would hear a ping sound every minute and when I got out to look it was halfway off the wheel with one missing. Quick fix for me hopefully for you too.

Would have been nice to have a loud more immediate indicator like that. Ive had it happen on some other cars after I swapped wheels but it was obvious within a few turns as it would sound and feel like a flat.

If I didn't have that center cap I honestly dont know when I would have noticed since my focus has been engine oil leaks/replacing hoses etc. Annoying. I've since replaced the lug nuts on that wheel, had to rubber mallet the cap out and slightly ruined the shape of it in the process. Hoping I can bend the small areas back and refinish with some black paint/reuse it again.

I will definitely have the studs replaced very soon.
