Hey all,
Decided I don't want a new car, as in new off the lot, but I need something that can carry more than 2 passengers. My Tacoma and FJ40 are great, but not for many people as both are pretty much 2 seaters. "They" just don't make classics anymore. Having grown up with my families FJ62 and reminiscing now all the time, I think I'm ready for one of my own. Preferably one with no rust (ABSOLUTELY no gutter/roof rot at a minimum) in the dark gray or white color. Preferably gray. Low miles would be great but nothing above 250k. There have been a few nice ones for sale recently and I just didn't act fast enough, but now I will. Must pass CA smog as I'm in San Francisco. As long as this thread doesn't say something along the lines of "got one!" or whatever, then it's still valid. A restoration candidate would be great as this is a car I would intend on keeping for as long as I am able.
Budget is in the 10k area. Would have to take a loan out most likely depending on timing.
Thanks,
Andrei
