OK - Selling because I have 2 cars. I love these trucks but simply have too much going on right now.
ASKING $7,499
Truck has 146k miles. EFI, auto transmission, ect. 2 tone Grey/blue paint scheme. Awesome beach cruiser, surf truck, adventure vehicle.
I have taken it on long drives to VT, New England, the beach, and upstate NY and it is always well behaved on the highway and around Brooklyn streets (with reverse camera for parallel parking). Just drove it on a multi day, almost 700 mile road trip through the north east - no issues whatsoever. 4x4 works perfectly, and the truck is very capable in snow and ice.
Some surface rust underneath. Rusted through spots on the rear quarter panels, just behind the rear wheels, common to these vehicles. Nothing that couldn't be repaired or cut out... I have seen much worse.
Heat/AC/Power windows/Wipers generally all work very well for an older car. Only issue is with the left rear door switch - window can be raised/lowered by driver. Could likely be easily fixed with new switch.
Here are some things done to the truck recently:
New brakes, lines, pads, calipers - front
New brake shoes - rear
New distributor cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs
New Catalytic converter/Exhaust repair
Transmission fluid drain and refill - new gasket
Differential service/inspection (front and rear) fluid drain and refill
Engine oil change approx. 2k miles ago + filter change
New fuel filter
New shifter bushings
Left front axle seal replaced, repacked with grease
Valve cover gasket and valve adjustments
New battery (gold duralast) and new battery tray
New front side marker lights
New tires: BFgoodrich All terrain KO2 All-Terrain T/A KO2 | BFGoodrich Tires
Grill and mirrors are painted with plastidip. Reversible, but chrome was pitted underneath.
New marine antenna.
Replaced stereo with Kenwood double din (dvd/cd/bluetooth calling, rear backup camera, iPod/iphone cable, ect)
Replaced stock speakers with rockford fosgate speakers in stock locations - all new stereo work done by Allboro custom in Greenpoint http://www.yelp.com/biz/allboro-custom-greenpoint
Replaced front seats with BMW power leather seats - common modification to FJ62s/FJ60s. I do not have the original seats.
Trunk carpet was replaced with rubber diamond mat for durability - old carpet had worn out.
Rear trunk panels replaced with marine board with custom bulkhead storage.
