I have had my FJ62 for about four years, bought it from a local doctor who took good care of it and rarely drove it. When I bought it, it had 175k on the odo, now has about 300k.
It isn't restored, but has very little rust (a little spot about an inch and a half diameter) under the window on the rear liftgate is all. I had it repainted the original arctic white color a year ago, so it looks sharp. It also has a new grill, new rear bumper, new liftgate (old one was skanky), new rims. The only serious mechanical that I've done involves a new transmission (one month ago) which shifts smoothly, and rebuilt front locking hubs last fall. It's not been customized but it looks great and clean, and I get many compliments on it.
There is an electrical glitch with the right front low beam that I am going to have looked at next week if I don't sell it first.
I'm asking $8,000 and selling it here in oc.
