Wanted FJ60 Rebuilt Carb

I know this is a long shot, but I'm on the hunt for a rebuilt carburetor by either Jim C or Mark A. I know it's a long shot, but my 60 is my daily driver and it's going to be really difficult to wait the 5-6 week turn around to have my rebuilt.

I am also willing to consider a less expensive carb that is running well that will allow me to get back on the road and send mine in at a later date.

Just buy a core and send the core to @FJ40Jim. They pop up all the time for 25-100$ in the classifieds and part out section.

I have about 20 cores, but they are all packed up already for the move.

Not sure what Mark's turn-around is at the moment (probably fast ), but I've got a good, complete core I can drop off at his shop this week if you want to contact him and verify.

You can either buy the core from me or send me your old core (I'll need pix of yours, first ) when the rebuild is installed.

@reevesci I should mention that my current carb basically won't start the truck anymore. That's why I'd also consider a decent running carb that I can put on my truck and use my current one as a core.

I should also mention that I talked to Jim on the phone earlier today. Super nice guy and was willing to work with me. Just wanted to put some feelers out for something I can get my hands on a little sooner since it's for my normal transportation.

Pretty sure. I've gone through just about everything else. And once I can finally get it started, it runs pretty decent (although I can't get it to idle under 1000 RPMs either).

Thanks for the referral Alf. I make a point of keeping a rebuilt FJ60 carb on the shelf at all times. I've had more than one local show up for a quick in-and-out swap, as well as the 'gotta get it running before the weekend' mail order customer. VM is on 24/7
