As you can see in my pic, it still sorta looks like crap with gapsRelated sort of, but what are you 60 guys doing for an install kit? Crutchfield doesn’t show one and I don’t want it to look like crap with gaps. Any ideas on mounting for a single din that looks good?

To mount the radio in there, it came with some of that bendable steel strip with holes in it. I bent it back to where the previous owner drilled a hole in a steel bracket in the dash. That supports the weight of the radio. Then the I just bent tabs on the included generic single din mounting bracket to secure it in the radio slot in the dash. I got the clarion radio from crutchfield and it came with everything I needed to install (except maybe one sheet metal screw) and that sucker is pretty solid in there.
