Cable Locker for a BJ70

Does anyone out there have, or know a junk-yard with a Full/Floating cable locker for a 70.
I see they are available out west for 2500.00 imported fron Japan. If I add shipping to the east coast... its beyond me. Are they that rare?

They are pretty rare. Cable lockers are a non-North American item really.

Though there was a fabled story of a So. Cal. dealership (or was it the Ontario PDC?) getting a mis-shipment of a palette-ful from Toyota. Because the part numbers didn't match the open diffs in the US nor showed up on the US dealer microfiche or parts books, they sat for years. Finally the full palette was sold to some company that sold a few and put the last ones on eBay.

Your sources are pretty limited in the US. SOR, MAF or GScruiserparts.

Looking to buy a new or used set or seat covers and seat belts (factory or aftermarket harnesses) for a 83 40 series.

I'm also interested in front and rear third members with 4.11 or 4.56 gears that will work on a 85 70 series.

Need charcoal cannister for 79FJ40

Suspect a few of these might be laying around since many folks have gone the SBC conversion - I'm looking for the charcoal cannister and mount which attaches to the passenger side inner fender for a 79FJ40. Also, for you "desmog'd" folks - any of the VSVs that screw into the thermostat housing - especially the upper one - would be an extra benefit.

Will get estimate from UPS, parts will cost you some beer money. I got everything you need as long as the tranny has the bolt that sticks out the side to mount the lever onto. Do you need the shift gate--it looks like a steel plate with a "L" shaped notch in it?

'76 or later FJ40 rear door lower latch.

I need the latch part (part that bolts to the floor) that the left ambulance door catches on. It will be going into a '81 FJ40, but I would guess anything with ambulance doors would work, just that tiny, approx 1" piece.
