I actually try to CONTRIBUTE useful info.....don't post unless I have something to SAY.
I'm still listed as a "IH8MUD Rookie"
FSIMInGA puts up 250 crappy posts in a month (50+ per week!) mostly idle chatter or asking for free upgrades, etc, and he's got the vaunted title "IH8MUD Regular."
Can we take back "credit" for the lame-ass posts?

Wanted for Trade! '97 with Factory Lockers!
Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way!
I want a '97 with locking diffs.
The only way I can do this is if someone will trade me their '97 (low mileage, preferably) with factory locking diffs...oh, yeah, an OME lift would be mighty nice too.
I'm very flexible with regards to LC vs LX450.
I have a '94, no lockers, with 165k on it. Runs great, lots of work done to it within the past 6 mos.
Maybe this will work for me too!

got a '91 4 speed auto transsmision + transfer case, 135,000 miles.
just took them out not long ago to replace with a 5 speed manual trans.
located in CA $500 obo, and I'll throw in a cruisecontroll box aswell.

no offense taken, the thing isn't that pretty but if you want it after seeing the pics, it's yours. if the pics say it is a waste of time, cool with me, cruiserwanted can have it if you don't. i have had it far too long and i just want it to go to someone who may want to use it or part of it, otherwise to the metal recycler.
but don't worry about hurting my feelings, it's free so you know it is no jem. i bought it for the engine pistons and the front seat. i have to get rid of whats left of it and the hard top as well.
wisconsin may make more sense but that's not my call.
i'll get some pics soon.

When you say pre-1974 are you including 1974? I have a 74 top that sounds like it is in the condition you are looking for. It has some rust around the gutter, and the headliner is rotted out, but it wouldn't take much to make it look nice. There is also some rust under the rear window, but a new piece could be welded in pretty easy. All the glass is good.
I am looking at getting a soft top, so if you might be interested I live in SLC.
