i always see that specific year on ebay....the only reason i know is becuase ive been looking for wiper arms for my 67 and everytime i search i end up with 76-81 or whatever wiper motors!!!

Thanks for the offer, but I'm really looking for the surrounding area of the door too. I figure it will be easier to graft in if I have everything at once. Do you have any pics of your round billet door installation? That might be how I'll have to go if I can't get one.

Before you buy another CB:

1) Make sure the antenna is grounded well.
2) Check the SWR. (SWR meters are cheap)
3) Consider a better antenna.

If your CB still has trouble after that, just buy a $40 uniden and a good antenna. If you don't have a SWR meter, get one to tune the antenna.
