Re:some misc. stuff

Stop by SOR in Chatsworth on your way north. For small parts like that SOR is very convenient. Aren't they having a 10% sale one of these weekends?

Re:some misc. stuff

BTW, just take your original belts and take it to any auto parts store. They can measure the belt and sell you a new one. Make sure you get the right width (I forgot what it is, but not the same as domestic cars). Often the old belt has numbers on it that the parts guy can look up on his list.

Re:TOYOTA gasket sealer, all

lol, i am headed more towards the quantity more then anything.

I think last time i got some from the uncle was about three yrs ago, and it was about 30 or so tubes, and it lasted me now and i still have 5 or so black left and on my last tube of orange, hence the wanted post.

so say 30 or so tubes at even at $10 a tube, $300 in gasket seal, YUCK.

so if i can find someone that has some, or a mechanic (might go through one i know here) that can get some, and i can pay less $$$ for quanity then i would like to go that route and have plenty on hand.

in the last two months, i would have spent $60 or so on gasket seal, crap isnt cheap, LOL.

Arcata, CA is in northern california. I think you are thinking of arcadia, CA.
The belts that are in there right now are from a ford ranger(dad got them for free) and they have pretty much fallen apart. :)

FJ40 headrests for buckets

I just pulled my seats out and after taking the ratty seat covers off, I realized that these were supposed to have headrests attached. Does anyony have a pair? I'm going to have them upholstered with the seats, so condition doesn't matter much.
Thanks.
