Thanks for the part numbers, Jim!

Jim - thanks for part numbers. I do not see the CAT or the pipe before the CAT? All of this looks nasty too. Your part numbers show muffler and tail pipe only yes.

Thanks!

And if Brian was speaking with me reguarding did I drive before I purchased the vehicle, I did and purchased it for 1300.00 US - 1985 FJ60. It is at the front end shop now. I just got the news the trundle (sp) bearings shot and the goop pouring out of the knuckls needs to stop! Rebuild kit on the way :) 400.00 total incl labor. Oh yeah brakes are needing to be replacement so that will be a charge as well. Might as well they are off the car anyway.

So - what ever the exhaust will cost is going to add to the total cost. I will post pics once I figure out how of the rig.

Simply awesome deal for the money - guessing less than $2,300.00 when done?

Thanks!

CloudCasters $1,300 dollar FJ60 :)

Yes - that is my question as well. I just didn't know how to ask it ... Ditching the CAT - will it change back pressure complicating tuning?
Thanks

That looks better than my $1500 cruiser!
So the Toyota Header is NLA? Looks like our options are to attempt to get our repaired, find a good used one or move to something like the performance tuned header from Man-A-Fre.

As per my previous post in this thread, no.

Bummer - at muffler shop new CAT, muffler, and all 2.5 pipe with chrome tip exiting at near rear tire like the guy earlier in the thread showed me... 375.00 :(

Unless you can weld, that's not going to be a DIY. Might as well have a 4x4 shop do it right.

didnt go header - but seconding guessing that decison since the manifold is leaking .. Im going to try and get to that today. here is the after. It is 2.5

The flash was going off cant see exhaust to well... $410.00 with CAT, muffler, chrome tip and WA state tax. ;( Becuase it is still leaking at the manifold makes this purchase a not so happy one. Im sure it is way better sounding then it was but the manifold leak is a dissapointment.

Looks like they did a really good job on it and the leak at the manifold could be something that can be remedied with a new manifold gasket and getting the faces of the two manifold machined. While I am sure this is what mine will end up costing when I get to it, if the manifold is not cracked then why upgrade for the extra money? You can get a performance tuned manifold from Man-A-Fre for around $300 but again, if yours is fine then why?

Is the exauhst manifold supposed to have a separation above of the the bolts? Is that a crack or by design. Looks like the end one for sure it is hard to see others without taking it apart. Also leak seams to quite down quite a bit after it gets warmed up.

The exhaust and intake manifolds are separate and can be taken apart (there is a gasket between them). However, if you do get them machined then you want to be sure it is done while they are bolted together otherwise you will never get proper tolerances.
