I have been recording it. Will check it out this week.

Hey Guys,

Yes it is true this weekend we will start a build up on a FJ 60, SOA front, four link rear, crawler box, rebuilt axles new gears, lockers and shafts. The truck will stay little mostly wagon but have a tube buggy feel to the back half.

Hope you guys like the show

ian cool show, did someone pony up some money for you guys to work on non-us trucks? bet it was NOT old boring banks

No the cool thing about this job, is our sales team is pretty hands off when it comes to show content. My job is to source all the parts for these shows and plan out each project. Someone doesn't have to pony up dough, the project just has to make sense.

I have one small request for the show. No Heep buildups. I'd rather watch Rosanne Barr model thongs.

Ian,

Nice to hear from you on here. I have been recording the show the last couple of months and enjoy it and have learned a lot. You going to chop the 60 up like that 60 rockcrawler we saw on the show in Rapid City when Jessi was back in her Hometown?

hey ian,

do a small show segment on the different types and combinations of bushings and grease. Cool show by the way. Tell that guy on the trucks show the 80's are over and to quit wearing the squirrel nut hugger jeans. I'm tired of hearing my wife make fun of him while I'm trying to watch the show.

Is it me...or did Jess look super hot last week while she rebuilt that t-case?

Ian,
Great to see you on here! Love the show, and personally I love some Yota stuff, but its good to get the word out on any 4x4 builds. Hope the 60 turns out sweet, try and let people know about how great these rigs are! I know we are all looking forward to seeing it.

Are you or Jess going to be at any Toyota events this year? I heard she was at a few last year. Thanks again for the great show and look forward to seeing more!

For the truck build, or the chick's build?

extreme is on the Tivo season pass list at my place. I just wish it were an hour each week instead of :30 min.

As much as I hate to be part of the wolfpack ... probably both. :o

lol: it's OK! Although, I'd just as soon have her do some welding on my truck for me as anything... I really admire people who can make their own stuff. I need to learn how to weld so I can make sliders and stuff...

Now that I know she's from South Dakota.... it explains a lot of things.

Yah me too. I remember when they first started airing Junkyard Wars (the British original) on TLC, I thought it was supercool, and how it would be AWESOME if I could get on the show.

But then I thought, well, I don't know how to weld, or operate heavy machinery, or most power tools, or ... hmm I don't really have any practical skills whatsoever. In fact, if it was the end of the world, and they were loading people up for a new civilization somewhere, I'd get left behind, because I have nothing to offer. :frown:

You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills...
