This came of my 1983 FJ60 when I installed a 4+ rear bumper. It lived it's whole life in a dry, salt free, SoCal environment and is in very good condition. Sprayed some Kroll into it and was able to completely wind it out and back in by hand. The worst rust is on the spring cap and its only surface deep.
