I would love to do it for the 80 series. I need to find someone in the Idaho Falls/Pocatello/Boise/Salt Lake area that would be interested in being the guinea pig. Any takers? Would work out a screaming deal. Any idea how similar an FJ80 and and FZJ80 rear frame is?

Trying to track down the guy who contacted me from the Idaho Falls area that was interested in a rear bumper for his FJ80. I seemed to have lost your message. I have been working on a kit for the FJ80, but need someone's truck to play with. Send me a PM or email.

Second Hand Kit

I bought one of your bumper kits second hand from a fellow Mudder who never got around to builing it and sold their 60. I would like to start working on it soon and was wondering if I could get a copy of those instruction you mentioned? I'm pretty sure the kit is complete and even has one of the round blanks for the tire carrier. Also do you have advice/specs for the swing out arms and tire carrier? Thanks

I used spindles/bearings from etrailer.com and spindle hubs from Comp4x4.com and then used some square stock for the arms.

Fourrunner,
I sent you an email a few days ago. PM me if you didn't get it.
Thanks

Did I read correctly that the kit has some plugs you weld in if carriers are not used? Do you make a kit without the holes?

Thanks,

Doug

I've got my kit at home, and everything looks great. Prob another month or so before we tackle building it. Your clear instructions and clean-cut parts will make it easy!
