Hey all, I ran into a fellow today after he saw my 62. He had stuff for sale, but isnt internet kinda guy, I told him Id post it here & see what happened, nice guy, wasnt pushing to sell, just said he had this stuff sitting on his bench after parting out a project that never got done.
83' 4 speed trans (manual) & transfer case, he had it opened up at Craven transmission (reputable place) inspected, steam cleaned & refilled, in good shape.
Bellhousing to Chevy engine adapter from advanced adapters, with adapter crossmember that support transfer case
He said $700.00 for all, or maybe $350 for either.
Not interested in dicking over price, said he'd ship if needed to, or would drive a bit to meet someone near area, Laytonsville ,Md. (near Baltimore/DC area)
