I bought this 55 back in 2001 when I lived in Wyoming and have done all the work on it except for the carb rebuild that I had done on day 1. Here is a list of everything on it (or atleast everything that I can remember):

Drivetrain
* stock 2F with aluminum radiator
* taurus electric fan
* new exhaust in 2007
* 100 amp chevy alternator
* newer water pump and hoses
* SM465 with 3 speed case - drives good on the street and the granny gear is great for wheeling
* Marlin hysteer with large pattern knuckles, vented discs and large piston calipers
* rear lockright locker

Interior
* Front seats were replaced with cloth buckets - super comfortable
* center console
* new headliner goes with it. The existing headliner is torn in a few places
* diamond plate door panels, cargo panels and rear tailgate panel

Additional Features
* tube steel sliders were installed - cut out the rockers and rust and installed
* cut out rust in front fenders and install new sheet metal
* rear swing out tire carrier. bumper also has 2" receiver hitch and recovery points
* 8274 winch on the front
* 36" tsl (with two spares...all in 75% or better shape)

What sets this apart from other 55s
* roof is in excellent shape and no rust like some at the edges
* it is ready to wheel
* turns heads everywhere I go

I am trying to finalize a piece of land purchase and need to liquidate some cash. I am selling my hj47 troopie as well as a 1985 fj60 ($2500). This 55 is ready to wheel. I have driven it to GSMTR (7 hours each way) and started towing a few years back once I got my car trailer. I have wheeled this at Coal Miner Cruiser Classic, East Coast Pig Run, Southern Cruiser Crawl (down in Alabama), Fall Crawl, and here locally.

I recently started to wrap up painting the 55. It is boat paint that provides good coverage and easy spot repairs from trail damage. This 55 has been wheeled, but never rolled or laid on its side. There are a few bends and creases in the sheet metal. The yellow needs another coat and then some wet sanding.

$6,000 obo - paypal accepted

This point and shoot wheeling rig is located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I had typed this all before and posted it, but mud had a little hiccup and lost 2 days of posts.

Having followed BK around at coal mine I will say the truck is absolutely great, If I had the cash right now you would have a PM.

Truck looks awesome and wheels better.

If you would like, I can find some CMCC pics and post them up.

forgot to mention it has fully electronic ignition in it. No points to mess with and uses an fj60 coil. A spare is bolted on the firewall.

Brian, sent you a PM!

sold.

Congratulations! and sorry at the same time...

Pig-less

BK- can't believe ya sold the pig! That is a great truck and I wish the new owner the best of luck with it. He's sure to have some fun. Maybe he can take delivery at the pig run next week...Are you gonna make it? Gary S

Gary, I'm pretty sure the new owner won't make the pig run this year, but maybe next year! :)
