I have to wonder about those catalog references. I have never seen a ‘clip on’ cable on anything older than 1973. It is unfortunate that you cannot rely on a reference table presumably generated by Toyota itself. But it’s not the first time I’ve seen production date ranges that were incorrect for the US market.

For anyone using a clip on cable, this is a good deal for an OE unit. GLWS
