Thought you were getting that Jeep? :D

I wonder if he will trade for a e320 benz wagon? Hopefully the wife won't mind. She wants the 100 anyway. No heep for me.

that's been for sale on ebay before but nice none the less.

So, do any of you capital city guys know anything about this cruiser???

No, I just know it was for sale on ebay once before but I guess was never sold. I'll ba happy to go check it out for you if your interested. Judging by the background, looks like a shopping center not too far from my house.

Guys,

This truck was flat bedded in from CA. The guy had it completely redone. I have not seen it in person but would like to check out, either this weekend or next. I have his phone number and name if any one wants it.

Picture was taken at Char-Grill on Atlantic Avenue, not sure where in raleigh the truck rests but if some of you guys are interested and need one of us capital city guys to check it out or help in any way let us know

I checked this Cruiser out, It sat in a lot at the 401 / 70 spilt in Garner for months. They were asking $25,000.00 for it. Absurd price if you ask me. From 50 feet away it looks great but once your up on it you get to see large rust bubbles around the rear wheel wells that were just painted over whenever it was repainted. The interior of it was ragged. This 55 was Ok for at most $8,000.00 but not a dollar more. It could make a good trail rig for the right price. I did not drive or even fire it up after crawling underneath and seeing the chassis/drive train. I would never call it restored, just patched back together and repainted. After a short glance I walked away, especially after seeing the asking price.

Basically this 55 looked like a Cruiser that VOR would sell and rape someone with that looks good online. Way, way over priced considering it's actual condition, which is why it's on Ebay now.

I learned the hard way.
