Posting for a friend...

Very rare land cruiser model, almost impossible to find in this condition.
Rust free frame & body restored by professional shop.
Includes most of the parts needed for reassembly- many new and spare parts.
Will sell with or without the stock F motor & 4speed transmission (currently out of vehicle).

Please contact XXXXXX for more details.

4000 OBO.

"A note on this rig and the price. My friend knows what he has, has owned dozens of landcruisers and will not give this away. If you are not seriously interested in buying, don't pester for pics, more details, or the like...no one has time for that. The bodywork was done by the restoration shop at the local toyota dealership. The Toyota dealership owner is a cruiserhead, but opted out of this project after the heavy lifting was done. The rig has been sprayed with epoxy primer. It needs paint, and reassembly. Parts can be packaged into the truck carefully and readied for a shipper to pick up." -K

I have checked out this truck and can attest to the fact that it looks even more amazing in person. $4k is a steal

Tried to send you a message but your inbox is full. Is this still available?

I love FJ55's and i am sure like many others on here. If I had the $$$ and time I would snap that up in a second.

I'm pretty sure I saw this 55 before. It is no joke a steal at this price. I mean the bodywork on it alone is worth thousands of dollars. The frame and body are basically new quality. If finished it would be one of the nicest pigs out there.

updated the information above...trying to get out of the middle of interested parties and a sale. Good luck.

Where is the 55 located?

Where is the 55 located?

It's in Vermont, near Burlington. Anyone that is looking for a 55 should jump on this right now. I'm telling you now, it's probably one of the best deals on mud I've ever seen. The pictures posted do it zero justice. I'm wanting to say it even has a brand new roof on it. Frame and body had zero rust from what I saw. The owner is a stand up guy, has lots of cool toys. It's such a good deal I've contemplated buying it just to sit on.

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet. The truck was owned by a Toyota dealer for a long time. When the bodyshop at the dealer was slow, he'd have a couple guys working on this 55. There are hundreds and hundreds of hours in labor into just the body panels. The frame is mint. The entire thing is like new.

Just a wild guess but I would say it would cost someone at least $15k to get the body to this point. Probably more like $20k.

(Just read Kieran's 1st post. Sorry for the repeat of info)

Surprised no one has asked this yet, but what year is the truck?

If my world was different I'd plunk down my money on this right now. However, I must wait until after May to purchase my FJ-55, which is patiently waiting in a barn for me. The good news is that it will soon be as clean as this guy. I only wish I could get this one and avoid all of the sweat equity (and $$$) to get it there!!!

Great deal for someone who can hopefully finish it right.

Sold!!!

Happy to see her moving to Texas, safe from the salt demons of VT.

Congrats! That is going to be one sick wagon when completed. Not having to deal with boatloads of pig rust will do wonders for your sanity. As for the rest of us rusty 55 owners :flipoff2:............
