Does anyone have any pics of the stock exhaust on a FJ45 lpb? I couldn't find anything on SOR's site...just wondering if anyone had anything?

Just need to know basiclly where it runs and what side it comes out?

Thanks, Matt

I figure for all the entertainment you are supply you fans with, you shouldn't have tp wait long for info.

1978 FJ45, I am the second owner. I got the truck in 2000 and can not say if the PO had a new system installed or not.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the pics...although I got mine done before I saw yours

Everything I had done pretty much looks the same except that I brought my exhaust up above the bottom of the frame. So, in the event I install my skid plate the exhaust would be above it.

Not sure if that was the way stock was done, but figured it might be a good idea?

Thanks again, Matt

That looks pretty close to stock, I have never seen anything but the early US '67 stocker, routed above the skid plate and a coffee can style muffler (small, round and long) strapped to a bracket on the frame. I think it exited out the rear... my memory fails me.

That's a pretty pic from the underside of your truck Matt. I have never had any problem with the pipe being on the underside of the skid plate and I have wheeled the truck quite hard. The pipe is also handy to hold up one side of the skid plate when you need to remove or replace it by yourself.
