Have you got a thread going on your 68? The glove box door mount looks to be 68 and later. Same with the bracket for the windshield fastener. 67 had a clamp 68 used the bolt with the plastic knobs. Got anymore info pictures? What are plans for it?

Gday , No thread on the 68 but should start one soon. It has a ford 302 windsor fitted but may remove that, dont know yet. It will be getting the factory ute tub and a factory paint colour with split rims.

And, who bought it? Would love to know and hope someone restore it to pristine condition. They are very scarce. As far as I know, I own the only one in South Africa, maybe even Southern Africa. :hhmm:

Thread revival in the hope of news?

Interesting. I just spoke with someone today who just imported a 1964 (?) FJ43 from AU. I thought there was no such thing, but this thread and the VIN plate pictured are more proof. Very cool and uber-rare.

G'day all, I am currently rebuilding my 1968 fj45p and was told of a parts car that looked like mine and was going to be s****d so went to look and its a 1962 fj43 . I ended up draging it home on a trailer but now what to do, are they worth anything as ive never seen one here before. thanks.View attachment 487240

I put some strong pieces of wood under the axles. That´s all.
Can you make up a more entertaining story? We are all here for the entertainment. 😉
