Wanted FJ40

I am looking for my first FJ40!!! I have been reading all the information on this site, and I am ready to take the plunge..........

My budget is between $5k-$13k. I am located in Columbia, SC, but willing to drive as far as TX (1000 miles) if it is worth it. I would like to find 1975 or newer with a 2F in it and use it as a daily driver.

I have been checking locally and on Ebay, but haven't found one that fits the bill just yet.

Any help or leads would be appreciated. :steer:

I have a 72' in Pawleys Island, not a daily driver but a good project. It runs just not up to par with lights, brakes, etc. Im asking 2500
 
my dad has a 77. i guess maybe you could daily it. it's pretty darn clean aside from some bubbles over the rear wheel wells. he's in southern nj. he hasn't been trying to sell it ( just sits in his garage). he's gone through it and it has a bunch of newer parts on it, just over 100K original miles. i know he's looking for around 8500 for it, but he might take a little less. shoot me a pm if you're interested. i'll be over there this weekend and could snap some pics.
