New here hi all looking for a nice fj40
I have made the mistake of getting the one that the good ol by put together in the back yard now looking for one worth keeping. I am looking for one I can jump in a drive as I am not that mechanical and am really just looking to enjoy one without a lot of issues if this is possible. kinda want as modern as it can be upgrades I guess is what I am trying to say.power steering shocks and such.

Take a look at what I have on Land Cruiser Nation. Some very nice restorations and some great drivers too. Also look at the Resources page for good information, buyers guides, etc.

Feel free to call me if I can help.
Phone number is on the site.

I am in the same boat you are--trying to find the right FJ40. I can tell you that overton is one of the best resources you can have--not just for the 40s he has on his website but also in answering questions about one 40 vs another 40 that you might come across. So many people on this forum are so willing to help--it seems that every PM I have sent for information is responded to with an offer to help. Make connections, ask people to watch Craigslist in areas that you're willing to travel to pick it up. I almost feel silly giving any advise being that I am so new to this, but I am starting to get some traction (pun intended) and its through the avenues above.
