Wanted FJ40 Rear Ambulance Door Lower Lock

I am looking for an FJ40 Ambulance door lower lock bolt or some measurements so I can make one .

It seems they like to fall out and get lost and I am sick of my door rattling.

Happy to just borrow one for a week and return it if your in an around San Diego

There are two options i am aware of. Mark sells them, or at least he did as of a year or two ago when i bought one from him. Another is a guy on instagram that made some, i will try and dig up his contact.

Tried to find the other source that i mentiond, just saw them in the past two weeks but cannot find the post again.

I have the bolts for the rear barn doors, not sure about ambulance doors. I am currently working on producing the handles for the bolts.

I assumed (maybe incorrectly) you were referring to the barn door latch pin for the early lower barn door. If not, disregard and good luck in search.

Look up FJ40GURU. He sells aftermarket latches. I bought an aftermarket throttle linkage set from him that worked great, but was able to located used oem latches from another member here for my ambulance doors.

You might also check eBay. I noticed a listing for aftermarket ambulance door latches recently.

There are probably other sources as well.
