I emailed with the guy last night and got more pictures. It has just had replacement front floor pans which is odd for a west coast truck. Not sure about this one.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, replaced floor plans but rust free frame seem a little exclusive of each other, but I'm pretty new to this. I emailed for more pics from the guy just now. I may make a trip out that way this weekend if I can swing it.

Nah, I've seen trucks with Flintstone floors that had mint frames. Even west coast trucks were subject to floor rust.

Thanks guys. Planning to check it out in person this weekend.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm learning a lot from the knowledge on the forum and from experienced folks in New England.

Where in WMass are you? I grew up out there.

We're up in Leverett, near Greenfield / Amherst area.

How about your? Where abouts did you grow up? Great area out here.

I grew up outside Springfield, but lived in the Amherst/Northampton area for 9 years-7 yrs at UMass. I know Leverett- nice area.

I looked it over in person and decided that there are much better out there for the money. I took my own pics too. When I was there, the whole thing was torn apart and not driveable. I think it has been put together. The place is a land rover specialist

It needs some work, but I pulled the trigger. Got a great price from the guy, he threw in some extra parts, a top, etc., and it starts right up. Now to get it reg'd, inspected, and on the road. Looking forward to meeting some of you folks and the adventures / trials / trails ahead.

Looked pretty good to me. It'll be fun for sure. Good luck.

Congrats! I almost did as well, but it wasn't together when I saw it.....and I have no mechanical skills at all....so I couldn't have handled the project. It has a neat story behind it too..did he tell you about the prior owner?

Thanks, guys!

Yeah, the seller told me it belonged to Anne Peacock, who wrote the screenplay for "The Chronicles of Narnia." I guess it was her ranch truck, hence the relatively low mileage. Funny stuff.
