Love this thread! My favorite is "ran when parked". That statement is solid gold.

I once saw a car for sale ad that actually said "Could run". Like what in the heck does THAT mean, actually?

“Ran when parked” is an important distinction. It means the vehicle was operating under its own power until it was left for dead in its current derelict state, instead of dying and then being transported to its current derelict state.

I’d guess 99% of the times they say “ran when parked”, they’re lying.
