georg, will this work for an FJ60 with smog pump?
Jeremiah
i've received a few emails and pms about running the sag pump on a 60. i'm actually in the process of setting up a mock-up engine so i can modify the bracketry to work in a 60. it's gonna be tight but i should be able to make it work.
plan on going to work tomorrow to get the engine mocked up will all the 60 series accs and then i can start messing with it.
however, i have a ton of work at the shop that has to stay on schedule so please don't ask me on monday how it turned out. i will post up when i have a working prototype.
thanks a bunch!!!!

I lost the reply I got about the bill dorry bracket. I have a stock 78 FJ40 to do a FJ60 power steering conversion on. What parts and prices do you have available?

Good afternoon Georg I hope life is treating you well. I went to install my awesome PS bracket this past weekend only to find out the exisiting Sag pump I have on there won't work with it :whoops: I don't have a stud on the back that'll work with the bracket. I came back to this thread to see if someone mentioned what year vehicle one might find the kind of pump that'll work with this bracket but don't see anything here. Figured I'd add a post instead of shooting you a PM to save the next guy looking for it. Thanks
Will these work with a 74 FJ55? I have a 85 2F with the powersteering pump ready to go in.
Thanks
Let us know when you make the bracket for the 2F (or have you already, I'm obviously somewhat confused). Mine is an 85 FJ60 with the stock powerplant, and a 'needs fluid every three days' power steering pump. I'd like to replace with the sag (already in hand), but don't have the means to fab a bracket myself.
Hey Georg,
What year pump/ pulley did you use on the 77 to align with the inner crank pulley? I am working on the Frankenstein 40 which had the head bolt mount and the alignment is way off (even with spacers) whichever way I flip the pulley. The pulley I've got looks like this. The crank and water pump have the narrow inner groove and the wide outer groove so I can run a narrow saginaw pulley on the inner groove. how's that for long winded?
David
ps. The pump I've got has a 3/4" non-keyed shaft for a press on pulley.
