Hi,

I am looking for a factory radio for my 1974 FJ40 build. I believe years between 1972 - 1982 are all the same. The radio does NOT have too work, I only need it for cosmetic purposes. It does need to look good though! Please let me know what you have and how much you would like for it. Please include shipping charges as well to 94588. Thank you for your help and if you have time check out my build.

Mine doesn't work and has some chips, but if you want it its yours! Shipping would be about 20. It would fit in a flat rate box

If you can't find one here on Mud, might want to search eBay, use the search term '197* Toyota radio'
I saw one the other day that had an eight track player in it.

I've seen them on there from other Toyota models that are identical to LC radios.

The Google machine might be able to tell you which years and models will interchange. Might get lucky and get one out of a Corolla or a crown or a starlet for next to nothing.

These are a pretty great solution too.

I've got a couple gauges on a pod behind mine, tach and vacuum that I don't need all the time. It works out great. The guy who makes them has a handle here, cobraboyHB, cool guy.
