I have a rebuilt OEM Carburetor that I obtained with a stash of parts. I’m unsure of the exact year but if I’m looking at the code correctly it’s a 68/69? The 40 that it was supposed to have came from was a 69. The box it was in says 72 and the invoice says 74. You can look at the pics and decide. It was rebuilt by a local guy that is about the only one around here that does old school stuff. He’s rebuilt a couple of carbs for me in the past and does a great job. According to the invoice it was rebuilt in 2013 for $250. It has been boxed and stored since.

I dont think thats a ‘69 carb. Date code looks like Feb ‘73 build date on the top of the carb.
 
The ballstud on the bellcrank is consistent with Feb of ‘73. The lift rod for the accelerator pump and the sight glass are both on inside out, rookie mistakes.
